Wheelchair Ramp

On Monday we started building a wheelchair ramp for one of our old neighbors. We had already replaced the railing on the steps for the steps but, it was still hard for her to get in and out of her house due to her recent knee replacement surgery on both knees. She wanted to keep the steps so we built it off one side of the porch. We started with a pile of wood, then the skeleton of the ramp and and then the completed ramp.  We hope this helps ease the burden of going in & out of her home.

Grow Lafayette Rolling Garden

We were presented with a trailer to turn into a rolling garden.  We we made the bottom from treated 2×4’s and hardware cloth.  We then used treated plywood for the sides and added slide locks to  the tailgate so it can open.  What a fun project.  Hope it gets many years of use.

Mackey Arena Floor Table

We a had customer come to us to take part of the Purdue’s Mackey Arena Floor and turn it into a table.  It was warped but, we were able to straighten it out, put a border around it, paint the border black, add the legs and it is now awaiting a Purdue logo to go on it.  So, close to being done.  Hopefully this afternoon the logo will be put on and it will be complete. #woodworking #purdueuniversity #mackeyarena
